EDIT: This picture is a little better in quality and contrast.
Finally, finished working on Sephiroth~ First portrait drawing that actually looks like the character I was drawing, lol.
I am completely out of practice with graphite - most of the drawings I worked on recently were done with charcoal, and I forgot how different graphite feels. I will probably do the next portrait in Derwent Onyx pencils - they feel a lot like graphite, but they don't have the distinct 'glare' to them that makes it so difficult to photograph the drawing.
Graphite and ink on drawing paper. Approx. 16 hours of work.

HOT DAMN! I don't play Final Fantasy but I can't NOT comment on this absolutely GORGEOUS man.
And your artwork...it's just so freaking amazing. I -- I have no words. I can tell you worked a long time on this piece and put a lot of effort into it. It really shows and I am HIGHLY impressed.
